Tactical Vest
Concept of Use Improved accessibility and weight distribution for ammunition and combat stores. The TV has been designed to sustain the soldier for short duration periods of between eight (8) hours and twenty-four (24) hours. As the basic component of the CTS Load Carriage System (LCS), the TV will fully integrate with the other components of the LCS: the Small Pack System (SPS) and the Rucksack. The TV may be worn over current combat clothing, the middle layer of the Improved Environmental Clothing System (IECS), and with or without the CTS Fragmentation Protective Vest (including the CTS Ballistic Plates). The TV will replace 82 Pattern web fighting order for specific operational roles.
Description The TV features 12 pockets; four breast ammunition pockets, two front utility pockets, two detachable side utility pockets for one C9 ammunition drum and one 2 litre water bottle, two smoke grenade pockets and two M67 grenade pockets. In addition, the TV will have a bayonet scabbard carrier, whistle pocket, and Maglight pocket. Click here for a diagram of the TV.
Care and Maintenance The TV may be washed using standard household laundry detergents. It should be hand washed using a soft brush.

Buckles Duraflex stealth pouch buckles operable with one hand only.
Colour Canadian Disruptive Pattern (CADPATTM (TW)) textiles with black buckles.
