Esplanade Museum display wall

The South Alberta Light Horse will be displaying a segment of its history in the new Medicine Hat museum "The Esplanade" from 22 October - 15 November 2005.

The display while small, will cover the 15th Light Horse, the 31st Battalion and the South Alberta Regiment. Portions of a display will also be on display at the Medicine Hat City Hall until the end of the year 2005.

The official opening of the Esplanade is slated for the 22nd October with a weeks worth of festivities. The display of the Regiment is located in the foyer of the museum adjacent to the Archives. At the center of the display will be the South Alberta Light Horse's Regimental Guidon.

Update, October 26th.
The museum opening and freedom of the city were both great successes and the Regiment was nicely highlighted on both events.

Included are pictures from the flag raising on the regiments Birthday at city hall with the Mayor Garth Vallely and Alderman Cathy Smith on 3 July 2005.

Also included are some pictures from the Esplanade opening 22nd Oct 20.
