Falaise Road Officers', Warrant Officers', and Sergeants' Mess

The Falaise Road Mess is located in Patterson Armoury, the home of 'A' Squadron. In addition to being a place of respite and refreshment this mess is home to the Regimental Guidon, many pictures, trophys, silver, and artifacts that span the history of the South Alberta Light Horse and the units the Regiment perpetuates.

The Falaise Road Mess organizes three Regimental Mess Dinners annually.

The Vimy Dinner is held in early April to commemorate the sacrifices of Canadian Soldiers in World War I, in particular the men of the 31st Battalion (Alberta), in their actions to capture Vimy Ridge. This dinner is for the Officers of the Regiment and guests.

The Senior Non-Commissioned Officers' Dinner is held in May or early June every year. This dinner is part of a professional development weekend and golf tournament for the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of the Regiment and invited guests.

The Commemorative Dinner is held every year as close to Remembrance Day as possible. Fallen Comrades are remembered and toasted at this dinner. Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and invited guests attend the Commemorative Dinner.
